I really like melodic intros for my songs cause it's just the sort of songs I make. I like to use kicks & snares just after the melody goes past once then I change up the end of the melody. That's just what I like to do but that doesn't mean you have to.
i actually suggest that you don't use a compressor or limiter, because tracks like this sound better with clipping (like with overdoze for e.g). just balance things better so its not clipping as much

So, the computer I used for my music was a 'School' chrome book because my personal one got busted up badly..(You'll know what I mean if you follow me on Instagram) That school chrome book has been taken up today, cuz I obviously can't keep it, the school owns it....Basically I'm saying I'm gonna be offline from Soundation for a while, but when I return, more music will be heading y'all's way!
What Vicious said. Other than that, I recommend not posting updates on the better version of a track, rather only when the track is fully done. It's better if you want to get noticed and featured and stuff. So that people can have one track to go to to listen to the track. Better for "marketing" ig
