lofi isnt itself a genre, its a method that you can use to make your music sound less polished, which can have a pretty nice and cute effect when done correctly. when your mixing/mastering is poor, calling it lofi is the equivalent of saying that your bicycle is a motorcycle

sometimes clipping is good, it gets the stuff louder through distortion (which is what i do a lot with saws and sub) and i think the clipping in this track is perfectly fineq
