Project Muse

Project Muse is a special group for those who really want to improve their skills. Here, we give one-on-one training to each member, until they are ready to ascend to the level of a true musician! The only rules here are no put-downs, and no overly harsh criticism. This is intended to be a safe place for people to develop their talents, and I hope that it serves its purpose!

Okay, good! Just wanted to make sure you knew the basics! Next up, have you figured out the FX?

Click the little black bar in the upper right corner, and you can pick between insturments. Clicking the insturment then adds the options for said insturment to the blue section. Click the one you like, and then go to the MIDI section of the library (right side of the regular screen) drag any one of them to the blue channel to test it out. If the thing you're dragging is blue, then you've got it right! Play it to test how it sounds, and mess around with the GM-2 until you've got what you like!

Okay, so have you figured out how to use a blue channel? If not, then just click the button with the plus and the music note in the bottom left. On the channel itself, you should see a little box with "Simple Synth" on it. Click that box, then click the instrument you like. Let's stat with GM-2, because it's the easiest to learn.

Alright, the lessons begin now! Once you've learned everything we can teach you, then I'll delete these comments. You can speak freely here, as this group is a private one! I think we should start with the MIDI first, but just my suggestion...
