I think you certainly had something going here. Although it can be a bit repetitive at times. I think that the piano should have started at around 0:17. Be careful not to let an introduction drag out for too long. Also, don't keep it TOO simple. Add in more instruments. Do something interesting. For example near 1:14, try adding in another instrument like a bass or something. It's good that you went for some variety with the melody, but it just isn't enough variety in sound to keep the listener interested.
