Anyhow, if you only make moves if they're a sure thing, then you're gonna have a rough time in music. Nothing is a sure thing in music. It's my passion, but I can't deny that it is very impractical. I plan on trying to get a degree in architecture so I have something to fall back on if music doesn't work out, because it really is hard to break through the noise.
PCM PANDA, I haven't made all my money back, but again, I only spend around $40 per year on DistroKid. If you make at least $40 per year then there's no reason to not get DistroKid I think. No one, and I mean NO ONE, makes their money back until a long time has passed. That's why you gotta stick with it. Promote to friends and family, find a niche in what style you wanna make, stick with it, and even when it gets hard, don't stop. If you work hard at it, there's no way you won't eventually get somewhere, and that includes being able to make the money you spend back.
Ohhhhhhhhhh! Yeah, I'm totally smart lol. Hey, you should look into DistroKid! I've been thinking recently of posting an unprompted sponsor video for them just cuz they're so good. I'm currently paying about $40 per YEAR to upload unlimited songs to spotify, youtube, etc.
