I think it would sound beter with just off beat 4x4 hihats. Further indeed the bass needs to be more generic. Mostly when a bass goes up as a second note (For example: a Cmajor chord = C,E,G , and the bass plays a E instead of a C) it will sound weird, so try to make a bassline as easy as possible.
There are too many mid or high frequencies in the drop, and i'm not a big fan of the beat, but this is pretty good. Also, try to work on your intros a little more. Don't just start off straight away. A piece of advice: Go slow for your intro and then move your way up as you reach the buildup and drop :)
