He only rlly important part of music theory hat EVERYBODY should know is to stay in key, I know all of music theory but I only follow the guidelines of staying in key. But there are other guidelines such as haveing certain chord progressions and using the proper time signature
I don't really know music theory but I know how to make songs and write lyrics but not like a music sheet. I just write the lyrics, can't write in notes or music sheet style
It's fun to be against someone if its just - like - playing around and for no good reason whatsoever, but you shouldn't just go against someone just to be better than them.
