**your hihats are pretty boring right now, add more roles in different spots as well as triplets to get that trap feel. i think it has enough bass tbh. i like the kick rolls and bass octave jumps, theyre in good taste for this. since you wanted an atmospheric vibe i would recommend more reverb and using less bass heavy sounds like that church bell. snares sound a little quiet in the mix as well. overall main things you should work on is mixing (specifically EQ) and making your composition interesting to listen to and not repetative
ok so first believe it or not hip hop actually stays in key too lmao. melodies could use some eq cuz its pretty muddy, again, we use EQ in hip hop too. some of the drums dont sound trap (like one of them snares) the others sound highpassed and knockoff lmao. if you want i can send you some hip hop samples ive collected that are signature and dont require EQ. now as of composition its very dramatic and pretty interesting but it gets repetative. you would probably add some pauses in the different drum lines to add tension before a big drop. another thing is make your patterns more intricate***
